History:
El Norteno Tacos began as a small food truck that was parked on the streets of Houston. Our founder, Ernesto aka El Norteno, had a passion for cooking and a dream of sharing his family’s traditional recipes with others. He started by making tacos and other Mexican dishes in his home kitchen and selling them from his food truck. The food was an instant hit, and before long, our small business had grown to include a brick-and-mortar restaurant. We continued to expand over the years, and today we are proud to be the go-to spot for authentic Mexican cuisine in Houston.
